Rest Day Guide
Every golf trip needs a rest day. Whether it's sore muscles, weather, or just wanting a change of pace — here's how to make the most of your day off the course. Many of the best rest day activities are right inside your vacation rental.
🏡 Make the Most of Your Rental
Pool & Hot Tub Day
Most of our vacation rentals have private pools, hot tubs, or both. Stock the cooler, crank the music, and make it a pool party.
💡 Tip: Ask us which rentals have the best pool setups when you request a quote. Some have resort-style pools with waterfalls.
Game Room Tournament
Many rentals have pool tables, ping pong, foosball, arcade games, and even pickleball courts. Organize a group tournament.
💡 Tip: Check our vacation rental listings — game room amenities are listed for each property.
Group BBQ & Cookout
Fire up the outdoor grill or pizza oven. Hit Harmons or Lin's for steaks, sides, and drinks. Some of the best meals of the trip happen at the rental.
💡 Tip: Several rentals have outdoor kitchens with built-in grills, smokers, and pizza ovens. This is a serious cooking setup.
Movie Marathon
Most rentals have large-screen TVs with streaming. Pick a golf movie theme: Caddyshack, Tin Cup, Happy Gilmore, The Legend of Bagger Vance.
💡 Tip: The media rooms in our larger properties have theater-style seating for 10+.
🏛️ Indoor Attractions

💡 Tip: The tracks are 200 million years old and incredibly well-preserved. A unique St. George experience.

🛒 Shopping & Errands

💡 Tip: Replace that glove, grab new golf shirts, or pick up gifts. The outlet prices make it worthwhile.
Historic Downtown Walk
Boutiques, bookshops, cafes, and local art in the Tabernacle Street area. Genuine small-town charm.
💡 Tip: Pair with lunch at Painted Pony or Wood Ash Rye for a complete downtown half-day.
Stock the Rental
Hit Harmons (St. George) or Walmart (Mesquite) for snacks, drinks, breakfast supplies, and grill ingredients.
💡 Tip: Harmons has an excellent deli, bakery, and prepared foods section. Way better than typical grocery stores.
☀️ Low-Key Outdoor Options
