Sunbrook Golf Club is St. George's only 27-hole championship complex — three distinct nines (The Pointe, Woodbridge, and Blackrock) designed by Ted Robinson Sr. and opened in 1990. That means you can play 27 or 36 holes in a single day without repeating yourself, which is why it's the top value play in the St. George area.

The Woodbridge nine is the standout, built around a series of lakes and finishing on the signature par-3 island green at hole 5 — one of the most photographed holes in Utah. The Pointe nine plays across rolling terrain with long sightlines and generous fairways, while Blackrock is the shortest and most accessible of the three. From the tips the layout stretches to 10,240 yards across all three nines, with a combined slope of 137 and course rating of 73.0.

Sunbrook is a municipally managed course in a city-owned facility, which keeps green fees lower than any comparable quality course in the region. For groups that want championship-quality golf without the premium price tag, it's the best dollar-per-hole value in southern Utah.

For group play, the 27-hole format is a genuine advantage. We regularly book groups that play all 27 holes across two days — 18 on day one, 9 on day two before heading to Sand Hollow or Coral Canyon. The variety keeps the experience fresh even for groups staying multiple nights in St. George. Peak green fees run $79 for 18 holes, dropping to $55–$65 in value season. A round here costs less than half what you'd pay at Black Desert.

The Woodbridge nine plays slightly longer and more demanding than the other two — it's the one to play if you're only doing 9. Blackrock is the most forgiving, ideal for mixed-skill groups where some players are newer to desert golf. All three nines share the same quality conditioning and are walkable by St. George standards, though most groups use carts. The island green on Woodbridge 5 is the kind of hole that makes a lasting impression — budget an extra few minutes there for photos.
