Sixteen guys flew into Vegas for Jake''s bachelor party. The best man booked Golfer''s Paradise Mansion in Mesquite — 6 bedrooms, private pool, hot tub, poker table. Three days, three courses, and a groom who went from "I''ll try golf if everyone else wants to" to "When''s the next trip?" Here''s how it went down.

Day 1: Falcon Ridge — Shaking Off Vegas

Half the group flew in the night before, the other half arrived by noon. We grabbed the 1:30 PM tee time at Falcon Ridge — perfect for a warm-up. The elevation drops had guys reaching for their phones on every tee box. Nobody cared about their score. CasaBlanca casino that night, $20 blackjack tables, cold beers. Jake lost $60 and declared it "the best money I''ve ever wasted."

Day 2: Wolf Creek — The Main Event

7:30 AM tee time at Wolf Creek. Best man''s one instruction: "Just look around before every shot." The first hole drops 200 feet into a canyon. Jake, who usually shoots 110, stood on the tee and said, "This can''t be real." We played a scramble — 4 teams of 4, losers buy dinner. The course took 5 hours and nobody complained once. We grilled steaks at the house that night, played poker until 2 AM, and settled bets from every side game imaginable.

Day 3: Conestoga — The Competition

Morning round at Conestoga. Skins game — $10 per hole. The canyon front nine created more drama than any poker hand the night before. "The Fence Hole" (Hole 4) produced two lost balls and one miracle birdie that paid $40. Post-round at the 1880 Grille for awards: worst shot of the trip, longest drive, closest to the pin, and the coveted "most improved" trophy (Jake, obviously). Drove to Vegas for his last night of freedom.

Home Base: Golfer''s Paradise Mansion

The Verdict

Total cost per person (3 nights, 3 rounds, mansion, food): about $520. Jake has since booked two more golf trips. His fiancée blames us. We accept full responsibility.
