Las Palmas 2012

Las Palmas 2012 is a two-bedroom, two-bath condo in St. George that sleeps four, a comfortable fit for one foursome that wants its own bathrooms and an easy drive to the first tee. Sunbrook Golf Club is about 5 minutes away, Southgate Golf Club about 7 minutes, and Bloomington Country Club and Dixie Red Hills Golf Club are each about 8 minutes out. St. George Golf Club and Entrada at Snow Canyon are both within about 11 minutes.

The sleeping setup splits neatly between two pairs of golfers. One bedroom has a king bed with its own ensuite bathroom and a door to the balcony. The second bedroom has a queen bed and uses the full bathroom in the hall. A queen air mattress is also on hand.

The main living space is open and bright. A long tiled peninsula with bar stools separates the kitchen from the dining table and living room, where leather sofas face a TV and a fireplace. A PS4 is available for downtime, and there is a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. The covered balcony has wicker seating, a small table and a BBQ grill, with views over the desert hills at sunset.

As part of the Las Palmas resort, guests share a long list of amenities: a waterslide pool, indoor and outdoor lap pools, a kiddie pool, two indoor hot tubs, a splash pad, a fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball and volleyball, shuffleboard, lawn chess, ping pong, a playground, a picnic area and a clubhouse lounge with drink and snack bars.

Downtown St. George is about ten minutes away for dinner after the round, and Snow Canyon, Sand Hollow and Quail Creek reservoirs, Tuacahn Center for the Arts and Zion National Park make easy outings on an off day.
